2 skeins of Poetry of Love. When it's gone, it's gone.
Two matched skeins of Sundara Yarn Fingering Silky Merino in Poetry of Love — a deep forest green shot through with chartreuse and teal, hand-painted onto a silk-merino base that takes the light like wet leaves. Both skeins are from the same dye session and carry Sundara’s signature hand-written tag; together they hold 1,000 yards of luminous fingering.
This listing is for 1 skein of Sundara Fingering Silky Merino in color Poetry of Love. 2 available.
About the yarn:
Fingering Silky Merino is one of Sundara’s silk-blend bases — 50% silk, 50% merino, 150 g / 500 yd per skein. The silk gives the strand its drape and that deep, almost liquid sheen; the merino keeps it springy enough to hold a stitch. Knits at about 7–9 stitches per inch on US 0–2 / 2–2.75 mm. Hand-wash cool, lay flat to dry.

About Sundara:
Sundara Yarn is the long-running Seattle-area dye studio of Sundara Mahlstadt, who has hand-painted yarn under her own name since the mid-2000s and still mixes every colour and signs every tag herself. Her colourways are layered and painterly, and on a silk base like this one a green such as Poetry of Love shows the full range from near-black depths to bright leaf highlights.
