4 skeins of Bazaar. When it's gone, it's gone.
Skein’s Mohair Silk Lace in Bazaar — a glowing variegated mix of plum, magenta, gold and rust that reads like spice-market silk in the skein and blooms into a soft, luminous halo on the needles. Held alone at lace gauge or doubled with a fingering base, the four skeins carry a generous 1,840 yards — full shawl or mohair-haze sweater yardage.
This listing is for 1 skein of Skein Mohair Silk Lace in color Bazaar. 4 available.
About the yarn:
Mohair Silk Lace is 70% ultra-fine kid mohair, 30% mulberry silk — 50 g / 460 yd per skein. The kid mohair gives the trademark halo; the silk core adds drape and a quiet sheen and keeps the strand from being purely fuzz. Knits at about 4 stitches per inch on 3.25 mm / US 3 solo, or hold it double with a fingering merino for the classic mohair-haze fabric. Gentle machine-wash cold, air dry flat.

About Skein Mohair Silk:
Skein is the Australian hand-dye studio of Kristen Finlay, working out of Coffs Harbour, New South Wales since 2010. The studio dyes a wide, painterly palette across luxury bases; on a mohair-silk like this one the dye sinks into the halo and the silk catches the light, which is why variegated colourways like Bazaar look so layered once they’re knit up.
