About this lot. Plant dyes never sit flat on wool the way acid dyes do — you can see the depth shift skein-to-skein along each strand, and that variation is the whole point. Eucalyptus, chamomile, and coreopsis are the workhorse plants of the European and Australian dye garden; together they let a maker walk a piece of wool through pale honey, olive-khaki, and warm caramel without ever opening a synthetic dye jar.
