About the yarn:

Sea Pearl is Briar Rose's drapiest fingering base — 50% merino wool, 50% Tencel, 100 g / 800 yd per skein. The tencel gives the strand a quiet shine and a cool, fluid hand; the merino keeps the stitches springy enough that the fabric doesn't go limp on the needles. Recommended needles US 6 / about 3.75–4 mm at 28 stitches over 4 inches. Hand-wash only, dry flat. Note from the dyer: some loss of dye when hand-washing is not uncommon.
