1 skein of Anemone — glowing magenta-violet, painterly fuchsia. When it's gone, it's gone.
A glowing magenta-violet from Blue Heron Yarns Sock Plus — Anemone is the painterly fuchsia colourway, dyed somewhere between a sea anemone’s coral and a spring flower’s petal. It’s the kind of pink that reads as serious colour rather than sweet — saturated, slightly cool, with just enough variegation to keep stockinette breathing.
One skein, full stop. This is the only Anemone we have, and Blue Heron has closed — when this skein sells, that colourway is finished in our shop and effectively finished in the world. The skein is 4 oz/ 420 yards perfect for socks, or paired with a contrast for a shawl.

About Blue Heron Yarns. Blue Heron Yarns was founded on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 1995 by Demian Savits and his mother Barbara Stone — three decades of small-batch, hand-painted yarn for knitters, crocheters, and weavers. The studio worked out of Easton, Maryland, and built a quiet cult following on the painterly, multi-tonal colourways that pool and blend like watercolour rather than fight you on the needle. Blue Heron has now closed. These skeins came direct from the dyer as the studio wound down — not destash, not a secondary market — the last of their Sock Plus base, full stop.
