A cool, dusty teal-green from Blue Heron Yarns Sock Plus — Spearmint sits between sea-glass and herb garden, soft enough to read as a neutral on a winter accessory but saturated enough to carry a sock cuff or a yoke. The painterly hand gives the colour just enough movement that it stays interesting in stockinette without ever fighting a cable pattern.

This listing is for one full skein. We have three skeins of Spearmint in stock — enough for a generous shawl, or one skein each for three lucky sock projects. Each skein is 4 oz 420 yards per the printed Blue Heron band. Inventory tracks down as skeins sell.

About Blue Heron Yarns. Blue Heron Yarns was founded on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 1995 by Demian Savits and his mother Barbara Stone — three decades of small-batch, hand-painted yarn for knitters, crocheters, and weavers. The studio worked out of Easton, Maryland, and built a quiet cult following on the painterly, multi-tonal colourways that pool and blend like watercolour rather than fight you on the needle. Blue Heron has now closed. These skeins came direct from the dyer as the studio wound down — not destash, not a secondary market — the last of their Sock Plus base, full stop.
