Slinky MCN is SKEIN's MCN sock-and-shawl base — 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon, 4-plied round, machine-washable on wool cycle. The cashmere gives a small halo and a softer hand; the nylon keeps the base sock-durable; the superwash merino is the structural backbone. At 365 yards / 110 g per skein, the single skein is enough for a one-skein shawlette, a textured cowl in cables or brioche, fingerless mitts, or paired with a cream/oat fingering as the painted half of a two-colour project. The colourway holds up to wear without going flat — the cashmere bloom protects the dye edges from the friction-fade you sometimes get on a pure-merino sock.
