3 skeins of Fraile Muerto. When it's gone, it's gone.
Three cakes of Manos del Uruguay Maxima in a soft, kettle-dyed pink — the kind of aran-weight single-ply that blooms into a halo on the needle and turns a plain stockinette yoke into something you keep stroking.
This listing is for 1 skein of Manos del Uruguay Maxima in color Fraile Muerto. 3 available.
About the yarn:
Maxima is the cooperative's flagship aran — 100% extrafine merino, single-ply, 100 g / 219 yd per skein. The single-ply construction is what gives it that round, pillowy hand: stitches sit proud, cables read sculptural, and the dye sinks deep enough that the colour reads as carved rather than printed. Knits to a worsted-to-aran gauge on US 8–10 / 5–6 mm.

About Manos del Uruguay Maxima:
Manos del Uruguay is a fair-trade cooperative of rural Uruguayan women dyeing yarn out of small workshops since 1968 — each skein is signed with the tag of the artisan who dyed it. Maxima is their most-loved aran base, the one that put their painterly kettle-dye on every yoke sweater of the early 2010s. Three cakes available, all from one dye day.
