10 skeins of Olive.
A super-chunky English wool in olive twisted with cream — like dried sage caught in a hedgerow at the end of summer. Ten skeins, all bands intact, all from the same dye lot, in a shade Jaeger stopped spinning more than a decade ago.
Jaeger was Rowan's heritage hand-knit label out of Holmfirth, England — a quiet British wool house with a reputation for fleece-forward yarns. Natural Fleece was their unwashed, marled super-bulky: 100% wool, 9 mm needles, fast knits with a generous halo. The line was retired around 2014 and has not been reissued.
100% wool · Bulky weight · 93 yards per skein (10 skeins — 930 yards total).
Colorway: Olive.
10 skeins available in this dye lot · sold per skein at 40% under retail · while supplies last. Curated and re-homed by Storybook Yarn — every skein verified by hand before listing.
Lovely for: at 93 yards per skein, two skeins make a slouchy beanie or thick cowl; four or five carry an oversized hat-and-mittens set; the full ten (930 yards) is enough for a chunky throw, a cabled cocoon cardigan, or a long storm-day blanket scarf. Pattern math is your call — we just guarantee they're all from the same dye lot.
Care: Hand wash cool, no agitation; lay flat to dry. Super-bulky singles bloom and felt easily, so keep the water cool and skip the washing machine — a quick soak with wool wash and a flat-block dry is all this yarn wants.
Condition: new with band. Ten 100g skeins of Jaeger Natural Fleece in shade 529 (Olive/Cream), all bands intact, all photographed together.
