About the yarn:
Supersoft is Holst Garn's workhorse fingering base — 100% wool (50% merino, 50% Shetland), 50 g / 314 yd per cake It arrives non-superwash with spinning oil still in the strand and is designed to be washed after knitting, where it blooms into something noticeably softer than the cone suggests. Recommended needles 3–3.5 mm at 25 stitches over 10 cm. Hold a single strand for stranded colourwork, two for DK, three for worsted — the line is built for that kind of versatility.

About Holst Garn Supersoft:
Holst Garn is the small Danish operation founded by Helle Holst, run as a family yarn business out of Denmark with a direct-only sales model — there are essentially no stockists; you buy from Holst or you don't buy Holst. The line is built around one idea: traditional non-superwash wool, sold raw with spinning oil still in it, sourced from non-mulesing flocks in New Zealand and Australia. Supersoft has a near-cult following among Scandinavian-style colourwork knitters precisely because of its price-to-palette ratio — dozens of shades, all designed to be held together or worked stranded.
