I just got a ton of laceweight silk in the store and out of all brands this is the softest and most shimmery. It is a really amazing yarn. Posh Yarn’s Robynn Lace is a 100% Grade A mulberry silk laceweight — 100 g / 800 m / 875 yd per skein. Grade A mulberry is the long-staple, cultivated side of the silk family: a glass-smooth strand with deep watercolour sheen and heavy fluid drape. Robynn is Posh’s pure mulberry lace base — a generous yardage in one skein, ready for a luminous lace shawl, a long stitch-pattern stole, or a beaded silk wrap. Recommended around US 3–5 / 3.25–3.75 mm. Hand-wash only.
