About the yarn:
Kureyon is Noro's iconic worsted/aran-weight single-ply — 100% wool, 50 g / 110 m (~120 yd) per ball. The thick-and-thin handspun-feel single creates Noro's famous slow colour fade as the strand drifts from one shade into the next over yards rather than inches. Recommended needles US 7–9 / 4.5–5.5 mm at about 3.5–4 stitches to the inch. Wonderful for hats, Noro-stripe scarves, log-cabin blankets, and the kind of colour-pop garments Kureyon was made for.

About Noro Kureyon:
Noro — founded by Eisaku Noro in Ichinomiya, Japan and now run by his son — has been spinning thick, woolly, unapologetically painterly singles for more than fifty years. Kureyon is the original Noro colour-striping yarn and the one most knitters meet first: a little rustic in the hand, lavishly long in the colour run, and very much its own thing on the needles. Color 256 is one of the warm-coral colourways, dominated by pinks and oranges with cooler purple/teal flecks that keep the palette from going saccharine.
