The base is a hairy synthetic eyelash ply; a fine black-and-white binder thread runs through the construction and shows up at the appliqué stitches — it's how the colour bits are tacked into the strand. The colour story is autumn-earth with little fireworks; the hand is fluffy and soft for a chunky.
