1 skein of Forest & Gold — deep olive, sage moss, kelly green, mustard, and a saturated golden yellow. When it's gone, it's gone.
A color-grouped Cabinet lot of vintage DeBella Mills “Miracle Thin” acrylic in a forest & gold palette — deep olive, sage moss, kelly green, mustard, and a saturated golden yellow. Wound into compact 1-ounce pull cakes, each still wearing its original Gastonia-NC mill band stamped “Mix colors like an artist — mixes paints!” and the printed 1990s retail price of $1.25 per ounce. We are honoring that sticker. This is genuine mill deadstock from a Carolina house long since shuttered.
This listing is for a single matched lot of 9 one-ounce cakes in the Forest & Gold family, new with band, sold together as one bundle. Cake counts are photographed as shipped; if a cake is missing from the band’s color group we note it in the photos.

About this yarn. Miracle Thin was a small-mill experiment from Gastonia’s acrylic-spinning era — one fine single- ply strand, sold with a fold-out instruction band that walked you through holding 1/2/3/4 plies together to swap weight on the fly. The system was designed by Debbie Mills (DeBella Mills) under the “Plain Tinker System®” trademark and shipped with a hand-written color-number slip stapled to the band. The acrylic is fine, springy, and resolutely matte — closer in hand to a vintage fingering wool than to modern bulky craft acrylic. Original retail was $1.25 per ounce; the few cakes that ever escaped the mill carry a stamped red sticker with that price. We list this group at the printed price out of respect for the system that shipped with it.
Hold it single for fine-gauge colourwork, stranded toques, or miniature lace; hold it doubled for socks and baby cardigans; or pull all four plies through your hands for a 1990s-bright worsted that behaves like a museum specimen of small-mill American acrylic. There is no longer a place to reorder.
